How can I paint on a deck of cards, but keep (or make) them identical to the eye and touch?

If your question is to determine how to “mark” a deck of cards, there are many ways to do this — but I am not interested in teaching anyone how to cheat. Besides, I am not good at cheating, have too many tells, and anyone learning to cheat from me — maybe should rethink their motives.
